2. Eligibility & Student Account Responsibilities
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age required to consent to digital services in your jurisdiction) to register an account. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you represent that you have reviewed these terms with a parent or legal guardian who accepts them on your behalf.
When creating an account, you agree to:

- Discovering, registering for, and attending practical technical workshops.
- Completing hands-on coding exercises, design deliverables, and capstone projects.
- Participating in student discussion feeds, peer code reviews, and interest groups.
- Curating a verified student profile demonstrating your acquired skills and completed projects.
4. Community Conduct & Student Safety Rules
We maintain an inclusive, safe, and collaborative learning environment for all participants. These conduct rules apply across all discussion feeds, comments, workshop sessions, group chats, and student profiles:
Zero Tolerance for Harassment & Abuse
Bullying, harassment, hate speech, discriminatory slurs, sexual solicitation, doxxing (publishing personal private information), or threatening behavior will result in immediate and permanent account termination without warning.
Academic Integrity & Authentic Work
Workshop capstone projects showcased on student profiles must reflect original work or clearly attributed collaborative efforts. Plagiarism, representing others' work as your own, or distributing solutions to bypass learning objectives defeats the purpose of skill building.
Prohibited System & Network Activities
You agree not to upload malicious code, viruses, or exploits; scrape, harvest, or crawl platform data using automated bots without written consent; probe or attempt to bypass security boundaries; or send unsolicited commercial advertisements or spam to members.
Our moderation team monitors community interactions and reserves the right to delete violating posts and suspend accounts that undermine student safety.
5. Intellectual Property & Code Ownership
Platform Content: All curriculum materials, syllabus structures, videos, graphics, logos, illustrations, design systems, articles, and software code authored by Smart Skill Workshop or its verified mentors remain the intellectual property of Smart Skill Workshop or respective licensors. You may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, or broadcast these materials without express written authorization.
Student Project Ownership: You retain complete ownership and copyright of any original project code, design deliverables, and showcase assets you build during workshops. By publishing projects on your public profile or in community feeds, you grant Smart Skill Workshop a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display your project solely for educational, community demonstration, and portfolio verification purposes.
6. Workshop Registration, Cohorts & Scheduling
Smart Skill Workshop offers both free community workshops and specialized advanced cohorts. Workshop enrollment is subject to seating availability and mentor capacity:
- Confirmation: Your registration is confirmed once visible within your student dashboard.
- Schedule Adjustments: While we make every effort to adhere to published schedules, workshop timings or mentor assignments may occasionally adjust due to unforeseen technical or logistical factors. We will notify registered students via in-app notifications and email.
- Cancellation & Refunds: For fee-based cohorts, clear refund and cancellation windows are stated on the workshop registration page before checkout.
7. Third-Party Content, Advertisements & External Links
Our platform may display third-party advertisements (including advertisements delivered through Google AdSense) and provide links to external websites, software repositories, or educational references.
We do not control, endorse, or assume legal responsibility for any third-party products, content, privacy practices, or services advertised on or linked through our website. Interactions between you and external advertisers or websites are governed strictly by those third parties' applicable terms and privacy policies.
8. Accuracy & Educational Disclaimers
Smart Skill Workshop is a practical skill compounding and career development platform, not an accredited college or degree-granting university. The services, educational content, and workshops are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
While our workshops provide industry-aligned training, we do not guarantee specific employment offers, compensation levels, university credits, or exam certifications as an outcome of workshop completion.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Smart Skill Workshop, its mentors, founders, directors, employees, and community coordinators shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or system downtime, resulting from:
- Your access to, use of, or inability to access the platform or workshops.
- Conduct or content posted by any third party or fellow student.
- Unauthorized access, alteration, or interception of your transmissions or data.
10. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account and access to the platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any provision of these Terms & Conditions or engage in conduct detrimental to community safety.
You may terminate your account at any time by ceasing platform use and requesting profile deletion via contact@smartskillworkshop.com.
11. Modifications to Services & Terms
We continuously refine our educational offerings. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features, cohorts, or curriculum elements at our discretion.
We may also amend these Terms & Conditions periodically. Material changes will be communicated via site announcements or email notifications where practical. Your continued use of the platform following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. In the event of any controversy or dispute, the parties agree to seek informal, good-faith resolution first.
